Jim
Founder and Instructor
Jim is the owner and Founder of Diving with Jim. Jim has been diving the sites around Amed and Tulamben for almost two decades so you know he has the knowledge and experience to find those hard to see species out in the sites as well as where to find the big stuff too. Whether it's a pygmy seashorse or sharks or turtles, Jim has your needs covered. Jim also has a love for music, so if you can pick up a guitar and fancy a jam with him after a dive around some Bintangs then you've found the right dive shop.
Yosep
Instructor
Yosep is a very accomplished freediver and scuba diver. He has just completed his SSI Instructor Certification and is an excellent Open Water Instructor at Diving With Jim. He has a passion for helping you experience all that the waters of Amed can offer you. He also has a larger than life personality and will sing play you his fav songs on the dive shop guitar if given half a chance!
Leo
Dive Master In Training
Leo has been with the shop since high school. He's worked his way up from learning to dive as an Open Water Student all the way up to Dive Guide and is a Divemaster in Training. Leo has a sharp eye and can spot things for you to see from a mile away. He is always willing to lend a hand, help you with your gear and will definitely join Yosep for a sing-a-long at the shop when there is opportunity!
Dudung
Dive Guide in Training
Dudung is our newest addition to the Diving With Jim team. He is learning to be a dive guide and spotter and at the same time help run the logistics of fitting wonderful clients out with our high quality rental gear, setting up gear, washing and maintaining our equipment and the shop as well as reliably driving you to our dive sites in our purpose built dive truck. He's a jack of all trades!

Ayu
Behind the scenes queen.
It's not easy to sum up all that Ayu does in a tiny paragraph. She's Jim's gorgeous wife and mother to adorable Liam. But, she's also that welcoming smile when you enter the dive shop. She makes the amazing local food prepared lovingly and waiting on the table for you when you are famished from diving all morning. She makes sure the dive shop is clean, comfortable and welcoming. She prepares your invoice accurately and promptly. Behind the scenes queen indeed.
